It's been almost nine years...

...since I last stepped into Petrosains.

It's been five years

...since I last spent time with two lovely, lovely friends of mine.

It's been a few months back

...since I last met them at the cinema.

It's been a week

...since I last kept in touch with an NS trainee.

And...

It's been four days

...since I last updated.

haha.

well then, here goes.

10th April, Thursday

11a.m.

sis and I headed towards SwatchShop to meet Xiowei. instead, she came from behind us and we both got a shock.

11.17a.m.

the three didn't know what to do since we've decided not to watch a movie. but still, we entered TGV and bought three tickets for The Water Horse, 11.20a.m.

1.15p.m.

movie was okay. didn't really like the creature. it's called Cruesoe, named after Robinson Cruesoe. it whines. ugh. went up to meet Carmen. and off we went for lunch.

about 1.30p.m.

Indecisive. the three who were in the cinema were frozen. there were less than ten movie-goers back then. then we walked into GenkiSushi, longing for a cuppa hot matcha.
Got to talk about the past. present. but a little of the future. We were all filled to our hearts', and stomachs' content.

stuffed

3.40p.m.

four of us strolled around looking for a place where we could just talk and have fun. we passed by Petrosains, a lot of times.
Somehow, somewhat, we found ourselves in front of the counter buying four tickets for four 17-year-olds. seven Ringgit each. and FYI we are NOT 18 yet.
the reception guy told us we have not much time since they close at 5.30p.m. and we're told that the average time spent in there is about 3hours.
We skipped the helicopter simulation anyway. It's boring. We knew it because we went there during Primary Three.

Going there at our age, is NOT a waste of time at all.

We experienced a Category One hurricane with wind speed up to 100 over km/h. Four persons fitted nicely into a cylinder-like chamber. All came out in one piece, but our hair was a mess.

Next, they have an earthquake simulation machine where we sit on a bench and experience 3 different levels of earthquakes : low, medium, and high. and you are forewarned, it's kind of scary, in a particular way. there's a light hung above the bench. and it swings, and swings about.

Nonetheless, there were lots to see and tons to be tried out.

supposed to see how many images are there when you adjust the mirrors to 90 deg or less. we didn't try though. Love this shot!

short, simple, sweet, Carmen's at the back, agh! Xiowei's still a bubbly character. love the way you laugh. haha. carmen's still as sweet as ever. I'll not forget we lost my sis and Xiowei TWICE. haha. stay sweet!

I can only jump 0.71 metres high. Those who think that Petrosains is only for students, make sure you eat your words back.

5.30-6p.m.

We're out. Went to buy some bagels home. Bought bread. And we parted ways at the LRT station. Xiowei took a busride home and Carmen got down at Setiawangsa.

love you guys!

This made my day. And I am tired.

Until then, adeus!

Been listening to Crowded House's Weather With You. I know it's a long time ago.
