Sept 30th - sheryiin's ...

went to a place where butterfly-cut chickens are grilled;
caught up with each other and all were slightly thrilled.

and so they came over and stayed for a while;
took a picture and neighed til some went wild.

all is good, all is well.
what more can I tell?

early Oct - dad's 52nd, california pizza kitchen

this is the CPK-BLT

pasta and pizzas were good.
six of these brought up the mood.

nay! don't be fooled,
below par they are, and left someone's pockets in need of stitching,
however they make you drool.

all is fine, we had a good dine.
too bad there weren't any wine.

Oct 19th/a day before final exam - asikin's aidilfitri open house

this is what you will get from me when your house is open.
nothing expensive but it's our token
of appreciation.

Oct 14th - yvewei's eligible to watch all genres of movies

last but not least,

Oct 26th - taking photos during mom's line dance performance

exams are over days are quite sober, time to replenish, no time to read rubbish;
packed are the days that will come your way, till there's not an hour to waste.
Jenny don't be hasty's a good piece of advice from John Mayer,
but not till everytime there're things to do I'd say "Later".

all is well, not too good, not too bad.
problems there are, where doubts and sadness fill my heart's jar.

doors of opportunity will be kept ajar,
till I manage to find one that opens to green pastures and in its vastness roam afar.

until then, fellow comrades. am content to be back!
adeus! and finally,

be merry as we celebrate for light triumphs over darkness!
be of good cheer for everything's not lost!

in the meantime I'll drown myself in radiohead.

Farewell!

(an effect of reading The Two Towers)

*this is yours, sheryiin!

1st aug. happy 26th birthday, AJ.

went looking for dresses for a coming event somewhere in a shopping centre I seldom frequent
after school together with sheryiin, michelle, yee teng, jolyn, and sis.

bought tickets for TheDarkKnight,5.50pm. that guy serving us was in a bad mood, so only sheryiin and I got rm7 tickets. the rest had to pay rm4 more.

kept our tickets without checking the details.
off we went to have lunch before starting our 'duties'.

managed to get a dark grey knee length dress for rm36 after a 40% discount.
the rest, unfortunately, didn't buy any. decisions were tough anyway.

everything settled, I was left with sis and sheryiin, cuz the other two told us they couldn't catch the movie, after we bought the tickets. rm11 wasted.

so yeah, the 3 bought the necessities and went into Hall9.

strangely, although we expected they were screening the ads, the hall was almost full.

(note: we were there around 5.35pm)

went out of Hall9. and double-checked the time of the movie.

"5.15pm - TheMummy : Tomb of ..."

( long, long ... pause )

* head to sheryiin's page for other details

fillers :

back home I figured out why it happened. we told that guy in a bad mood we'll be watching a five-fifty movie. I suspected he heard five-fifteen.

ridiculous, is it not?

* * *

no idea.

moral of the story:

CHECK YOUR TICKETS AFTER YOUR PURCHASE!

6th aug. happy 23rd birthday, Yong!
choc moist cake straight from the kitchen - awfully good.

08/08/08

forced to buy 2 pairs of customised socks from the school. pre-order stage now.

8 bucks. irrational, is it not?

school's on tomorrow. replacing HariRaya holidays.

sheeeesh.

( what's that number 8 got to do with 08/08/08 anyway, huh??)

until then, adeus!

progress rep.

i Friday, 4th - Decided to take a trip to the CentralMarket area to shop for cloth ( a friend of mine needs to make an accessory ). there were 3 of us.
I stopped by Klcc to have my watch battery replaced. I thought, since I'm here, why not make a short visit to the PetronasGallery? Last time I didn't step inside.
MATAHATI - for your pleasure, offers visual perspectives from Malaysia's leading art collective.
The exhibits are, most of them, very beautifully crafted and painted, comprising a selection of works by Ahmad Fuad Osman ( his exhibits are unique! ), Ahmad Shukri Mohamed, Bayu Utomo Radjikin, Hamir Soib @ Mohamed and Masnoor Ramli Mahmud.
Didn't spend enough time there. Had to rush to meet the other 2 at McDonalds near UO plaza. Was content anyway.
Down the stairs heading to the Klcc LRT station, I saw this guy going rather slow ( or I was brisk walking ), so I overtook him and walked on.
While waiting for the train to arrive, I noticed that he was standing beside me. Didn't care much anyway. We went in the train ; he stood opposite me.

I was curious.

I looked at him ( not suspiciously ). Standing there, was my primary schoolmate, on his way to MidValley. a pleasant surprise. indeed.

Got down at PasarSeni and met up with Jolyn and my sis. had something to eat, went NagoyaTextiles and headed home then on.

ii Saturday, 5th - went to Kepong for dinner with 8 other church cellgroup members. stuffed. came back around 10.45 p.m.

iii Sunday, 6th - woke up early. had to be in church at 7.30 a.m. for a meeting. now sis and I will have to get up early every Sunday. leaders' meeting. sigh. slept late last night by the way.
aaaand..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DENISE!

iv Today, 7th - Sheryiin came over for a break from MIA. got to catch up for a while before she leaves for class at 1p.m. Class just ended and I drove (accompanied by mom) to fetch her. haha. It's a relief that MIA is near.
I've just received a letter from my alma mater stating that the AnugerahKecemerlangan will be on the 25th of this month and my sis and I are invited. : )

these are all at the present moment. Too lazy to blog further.
TILL THEN, bonjour and au revoir!

* here's what you get when you 'twist' / 'roll' crepe paper and tissue paper (not facial tissue!) into a string. nice contrast eh?
