1. Six People to Tag. The victims are:

Iko/Iep!(haha.buat je lah...)
Carmen
Denise
SoongYee
XiowWei
(5 is enough)

2. Six Things I'm Passionate About

Art&Crafts
Reading
music(the listening part)
observing, or rather staring at things/a particular spot
Food(including the cooking part)
photography

3. Six Things I Say Too Often

eeissh...
uh...
(sigh)
heh?
abo...?(short for 'if not then?')
hmm...?

4. Six Books I've Read Recently
(N/A : no time for books at all, i mean for constant, continuous reading)

Just finished 'A Cracked Pot' - Lizzie Wilson,

Currently juggling:

Falling Leaves - Adeline Yen Mah,
Habitudes - Dr Tim Elmore,
NationalGeographic
...and I've been reading a book by Randy Pausch, called 'The Last Lecture' every Sat during my 2-hour break at a bookstore...40 odd pages to go...hoping to finish it next Sat. Very heart-warming indeed. The author, a professor-cum-lecturer is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The contents are quite inspirational (similar to the threesome by Mitch Albom, but this is more to a narration). Highly recommended!

5. Six Songs I can Listen to Again and Again

Fix You - Coldplay
Trouble - Coldplay
Yellow - Coldplay
The Scientist - Coldplay
Every-thing's Not Lost - Coldplay
Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead

(other options: Keane, Muse, DamienRice)

6. Six Things I Learnt in the Past Year (make that 5. heheh...)
(I'll just type what I've learnt/what I intend to change/quotes I find worth noting.)
Here goes...

"The old law of an eye for an eye leaves everybody blind." - Martin Luther King

"It's the job that's never started as takes the longest to finish." - Sam's old gaffer in 'The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring'

"There is no witness so terrible, no accuser so powerful as conscience which dwells within us." - Sophocles

"Even if you are right on track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." - Will Rogers

"I play the notes as they are written, but it is God who makes the music." - Johann Sebastian Bach

This reminds me of sunsets/the other way round...

This guy has a charming voice.

better to have a soul saved yet lose some degree of friendship,

friday, june 13th -
elected as 6thFormers'Club president. even more responsibilities to bear. things are going to get a lot more complicated real soon. why... is life so tough nowadays? people complicate things. busying themselves with co-curricular activities just to get marks; to be able to compete; to secure a place in their future sducation. it's not that I don't enjoy co-curricular activities, but why all the stress when academia is our priority? I'll leave that for you to ponder upon.

sun, june 15th -
bought a DigitalSingleLensReflex camera. no time to explore and experiment. will do so when I get the chance. macro lens. remarkable.

friday, june 20th -
teachers' day celebration in school. this time around, things have changed. due to the stress in co-curricular activities, several clubs have opted to perform. it's a good thing I guess. had a good laugh(got to get my tear ducts working for a while) watching an Uryuu Ishida in Bleach lookalike taekwondo greenbelt junior. impressed with a usually quiet and shy former classmate's skills in HeLingDao(a martial art) performance. things have changed. a lot. everybody's changing and I don't feel the same ; everybody's changing and I don't know why.

out of words.

until then.
wishing you a pleasant weekend.

missing craft 'sessions'.

amazing grace

God put a smile upon our faces. by putting heavy rain on hold last Saturday. without any major glitches, we pulled through. though there were last-minute preparations, all went well according to plan. it was great watching them all dancing in synchrony, with friends agape...and the actors playing their part in the skit, with all the attention on them... all in a crisp, clear night.

'twas worth all the hard work after all. without prayer and faith, it would be just like any other event we used to hold in the sanctuary hall.

our deepest gratitude,
to our King of kings ; Lord of lords.

for making it all possible.

School is back. Everything returns. 2 new friends from Selayang joined L6A. now it's 15. assignments throng. lots of reading to be done.

until then.

gracias.
