July 26 - CG outing to Batu Caves

very very sunny it was.

once inside, we savoured cool air... ah! how refreshing! lots of tourists and locals there, too!

August 1-2 - Fraser's Hill Family Retreat! brrr....

very spooky entrance. we stayed here for the one night's trip. this place was booked by my aunt, and we got it FOC!! how nice : ) it's got a very colonial architecture... very comfortable! you see lots and lots of flowers, with credits to the caretaker of the bungalow... very pretty flowers!

didn't find out what species they are... so it's like meeting someone you're familiar with but you've forgotten their name... agh... hahahah.

this was where we bought some ice cream to cool down. the afternoon was hot and the air still.

Back at home packing 2 presents for 2 lovely friends.

Another 'no-name' flower. but this one's at home. It blooms at midnight! Sounds ridiculous but it is true! there we were, the whole family waiting for it to bloom from....

makes you gasp at how wonderful the Almighty's creations are...despite the irregular flowering seasons.

the juniors. not all are here. some are busy with duties...

it's surprising we don't mind studying with dusty window panes!! hahaha: D

with the classroom stuck in the middle of the school compound, it's very hot and stuffy without shade from huge trees... sigh... such is the norm in smch! but that makes it feel like you're in chong hwa... Right, guys??

we had 2 events that day. one is the grad ceremony. the other's a farewell ceremony for the headmistress.

Another day at home. two birds lepak-ed around the compound just outside the dining area.

hours later they were seen frolicking outside my room...
